Welcome to our website we are a small family business with our workshops situated in the hamlet of Willslock, between Uttoxeter and Abbotts Bromley, Staffordshire.

We make our hives from sustainably sourced and certificated Western Red Cedar or Swedish red wood, using traditional woodworking techniques for a quality handmade yet contemporary product.

All our hives are made to the BBKA National Hive specifications, with either top or bottom bee-space as you prefer.

We run 75 - 100 hives in several aparies located in Staffordshire and the nearby Derbyshire Dales. We raise our own queens, at our home apiary in Willslock using the Buckfast strain made famous by Brother Adam.

Having a strain of bee of good temperament, easy to handle, which stays on the comb when inspected and produces a very good surplus of honey is essential to successful beekeeping at Beeworthy Hives.

Our honey is sold under the brand of Staffordshire honey through local independent retailers.
